Some weekends are more exciting than the others. During the weekend two very huge shows, Finnish Winner -09 and Nordic Winner -09, were held in Helsinki. Over 17,000 dogs and a total chaos on the parking place. Feel the athmosphere. Our dogs succeeded very well at the shows. Ch. Linum La Gioconda was Best Bitch-4 on Saturday and on Sunday. Linum Angora Attitude won Nordic Junior Winner -09 title on Sunday and the others, Linum Cashmere Mafia and Linum Merino Maverick, placed in their class as well. Well done, boys and girls.

Linum Angora Attitude, "Anna", did really well at the Turku Int Show. CAC, CACIB and 2nd Best Bitch under the judge Annika Ulltveit-Moe, Sweden. I like this little bitch. She has a good attitude for showing and really beautiful movements.

We are celebrating our new champions. Ch. Linum Venus de Milo, "Sofie", finished her international championship at the Vilnius Int Show in Lithuania (judge: Jurate Butkiene, Lithuania) two weeks ago. Today her son Linum Merino Maverick, "Hessu", won JUN-CAC and Best Male-2 at the Tarto Int Show in Estonia (judge: Colette Muldoon, Ireland) and finished his Baltic junior championship as well. Thank you to Inka Kolhinoja and Antti Kovanen for showing our dogs on this Baltic journey.

Today at the Seinäjoki Int Show Linum Helen of Troy aka "Helmi" won CAC, CACIB, BOS and new FI CH under the judge Svein Helgesen, Norway. Congratulations to the owners! We have great news from Australia as well. Ch. Linum Adam's Creation, "Kalle", won Best Exhibit in Group and Runner Up Best in Show (All breeds) at the Southern Cross Kennel Club Show in Melbourne. The judges were Mrs S. Packer (Group) and Mr R. Cleland (BIS) from South Australia. Congratulations to the owners!

Great news from Bratislava! Our drop-eared bitch Ch. Linum La Gioconda won WORLD WINNER -09 title at the Bratislava World Winner Show under the breed specialist judge Robert Kanas (Kennel Flanagan), Slovakia. Also our junior bitch Linum Angora Attitude did really well by placing 2nd in her class. Special thanks to Adalia's owner Anu-Maarit Jokinen (Kennel Skyeluck) who groomed and handled our dogs there and to Nina Andersson for helping out when it was needed. THANK YOU!!

Kalle did it again! Aust Ch. Linum Adam's Creation won Best of Breed at the Melbourne Royal Show, one of the biggest shows in Australia. The judge was a Canadian skye terrier breeder Richard Meen (kennel Kishniga's). Kalle is at the moment #1 skye terrier in Australia. Go, Kalle, go.

This was a great show weekend for Linum skye terriers. At the Parainen Terrier Group Show our junior bitch "Anna", Linum Angora Attitude, won Best of Breed and her second certificate CAC in a field of twenty skye terriers. It makes this win memorable that the judge was the former skye terrier breeder Lia Obee (Kennel Of The Isle Of Skye) from Netherlands.

At the same time Anna's sister "Divia", Linum Mohair Monopol, won Best of Opposite Sex, certificate CAC and the title CPHW-09 at the Copenhagen Winner 2009 Show in Denmark (judge: Wilfred Pepar, Germany). Congratulations to the super sisters and their owners.

Great news from Australia. Aust Ch. Linum Adam's Creation won Best of Breed and runner up Best in Group at the Adelaine Royal Show last weekend. The judge was the respectable all-rounder Kari Järvinen from Finland. The owner Owen Clark (Kennel Wanmirri) told me also that "Kalle" is a proud dad of two litters at the moment. Congratulations to both of you.

Our girls succeeded very well at the Porvoo All Breed Show under the judge Evelyn Hurley, Ireland. Ch. Linum La Gioconda aka "Adalia" was Best bitch-1 and BOS and little "Anna", Linum Angora Attitude, Best bitch-2 with a certificate CAC. Now three littermates from my third litter have won their first certificates. Way to go, kids!

We got some lovely photos from Denmark. Little "Divia", Linum Mohair Monopol, is spending her days there with her briard friends and an another skye terrier bitch "Darling". Enjoy these photos and congratulations to the owners for her first certicate.

We spent a really nice day at the Skye Terrier Club Of Finland Specialty Show. People were on a good mood and the weather was as good as you can expect at the end of August. Our dogs succeeded very well at the show. Linum Merino Maverick, "Hessu", placed fourth in the male junior class. Her sisters Linum Angora Attitude, "Anna", and Linum Cashmere Mafia, "Maija", took a double win in the huge junior class of seven bitches. Our older bitches did also very well. Ch. Linum La Gioconda won the bitch champion class out of nine bitches and she was choosed the second best bitch of the day. Her sister Ch. Linum Venus de Milo placed third in the same class. We would like to thank you the judge, Jan-Erik Ek, for valuing our dogs so much. The critiques were beautiful and the athmosphere of the day was really lovely. Thank You, Jan-Erik.

On Sunday we participated the Tervakoski Int Show with our "Paris", Linum JudgmentOfParis. He was placed second in the best male class with CACIB.

Young "Hessu", Linum Merino Maverick, is conquering the Baltic countries. At the Haapsalu National Show he won his 2nd Estonian JUN CAC and BOS under the judge Bojan Matakovic, Croatia.

Our older dogs have been busy as well. Ch. Linum Venus de Milo, "Sofie", won Best Bitch-1 and BOS at the Mikkeli Int Show (judge: Anton Todorov, Bulgaria). During the same weekend her littermate Ch. Linum La Gioconda, "Adalia", was Best Bitch-2 at the Helsinki Int Show (judge: Harri Lehkonen, Finland). And to make our day perfect Linum JudgmentOf Paris gained Best Male-2 with CACIB at the Pori Int Show (judge: Rita Reyniers, Belgium). Well done, girls and boys!

Sofie's eleven months old son Linum Merino Maverick aka "Hessu" was shown today at the terrier specialty show in Latvian. He was BOB, GROUP-3-JUNIOR and amongst the seven best finalist in the BIS final. The judge Tino Pehar came from Croatia. Well done!

Ch. Linum Venus de Milo aka "Sofie" is also a Latvian Champion now. She won her ticket and BOB at the Riga Int Show under the judge Enrique Mate, Spain. The judge liked her so much that she was raised among seven best finalists in the Group.

Also Sofie's 10 months old son Linum Merino Maverick, "Hessu", has succeeded very well recently. He won his second certificate CAC at the Rovaniemi Int Show under the judge Tiina Taulos, Finland. Congratulations to the owners.

Linum Adam's Creation aka "Kalle" won BEST IN SHOW at the Sporting Terrier Club of Victoria Championship Show in Melbourne last Sunday. The honorable breed/group judge was Mrs. Kirsi Sainio (Kennel Of Skyeline) from Finland. He did very well also on Monday. BEST OPEN EXHIBIT under the judge Ms. Liz Walmsley, Australia. Kalle made the cut for BIS as well and the judge told the owner Owen Clark that he was one of the 3 she considered for the Best. We are all very happy for Kalle's success.

KALLE DID IT AGAIN! A small brag from Australia. Aust Ch. Linum Adam's creation (Int Ch. Finnsky Alan - Fin Ch. Of Skyeline Alouette) aka "Kalle" went BEST EXHIBIT IN TERRIER GROUP at the Geelong Kennel Club Show last weekend. The judge was Ms. Liz Hindley, the leading norfolk terrier breeder in Australia. This was Kalle's third group win since he arrived to Australia. Kalle is proudly owned by Owen Clark & Peter Collins (Wanmirri), Wendy Ladd (Skybrae) and Julie Morris & Jules Stapleton (Dorwyn).

This was a great show weekend for Linum Skyes. At the Rauma All Breed Show Linum Helen Of Troy aka "Helmi" won BOS under the judge Jurate Butkiene, Lithuania. At the same show little "Hessu", Linum Merino Maverick, was rewarded with his first certificate CAC.

At the Uppsala International Show in Sweden our "Paris", Linum JudgmentOfParis, won BOS under the judge Siewert FalkRudiger, Germany. His halfsister Linum Venus de Milo, "Sofie", was Best Bitch-3. At the Helsinki International Show Linum MythOfAphrodite aka "Kerttu" was Best Bitch-2 under the judge Claudio Giuliano, Italy. Congratulations to all of the owners. Well done!

At the Vaasa Int Show Linum Helen Of Troy aka "Helmi" won BOS (Best Of Opposite Sex) with CACIB and CAC in a field of eight skye terriers. Well done, Jaana and Helmi! Our "Paris", Linum JudgmentOfParis, was Best Male-3 with res-CAC and little "Hessu", Linum Merino Maverick, BOB-Puppy. The judge Mr. Dan Ericsson came from Sweden.

A few new photos of Linum Merino Maverick aka "Hessu". He is living with the corgi boys and owned by Antti Kovanen and Inka Kolhinoja. "Hessu" has already a couple of BOB Puppy wins under his paw and BIS-4 Puppy win from Estonia.

At the Tampere Int Show our dogs succeeded really well. Linum JudgmentOfParis ended up being Best Male-3 and Linum Helen of Troy Best Bitch-4 in a field of 15 skye terriers. Certificates CACs of the both sex came to our dogs. I wasn't there personally and I'd like to thank you, Anu-Maarit Jokinen (kennel Skyeluck), for handling our Paris so beautifully.

Three puppies from our latest litter: Linum Angora Attitude, Linum Cashmere Mafia and Linum Merino Maverick were shown at the Helsinki puppy show two weeks ago. All of the puppies got really nice qritiques and Price of Honor under the breeder judge Kirsi Sainio (Kennel Of Skyeline).

Linum Merino Maverick aka Hessu was also shown at the Terrier Specialty show in Tallinn, Estonia recently. He did really well there being BOB Puppy and BIS-4 Puppy. The breed judge was once again Kirsi Sainio and the group judge Torsten Himmrich from Germany.

Below is a picture of Linum Mohair Monopol aka Divia with her best friend Daigo the briard. Divia is living in Denmark by Doris Brunhøj (Kennel Lam-Baias).

We spent this weekend in Turku Int Show. This show was special for us because we showed a breeder group for the first time there. The judge Anne Tove Strande liked our dogs very much and gave them Price Of Honor. In an individual competition Ch. Linum La Gioconda gained Best Bitch-2 with CACIB and Linum JudgmentOfParis Best Male-3 with CAC. Both of our young bitches Linum Helen Of Troy and Linum MythOfAphrodite gained excellent in a quality evaluation.
